William J. Csugi, age 68, of Milford, beloved husband of Thelma McEwan Csugi, died on Sunday, June 30, 2013, at Milford Hospital. He was born in Bridgeport on December 18, 1944, son of the late Joseph and Irene Szarka Csugi.
William proudly served in the Army Airborne Division during the Vietnam War and received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was a member of the V.F.W. 7788 in Devon. He worked as a Station Operator for Northeast Utility.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Mary (John) Ailes of Tolland, CT, Pauline Csugi and Thomas (Susan) Csugi both of Milford; a brother Roger Csugie of Milford; five grandchildren, Katie, Megan, Christopher, Ryan and Mariah and several nieces and nephews.
A Prayer service will be held Friday, July 5 2013 at noon in the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford. Friends may call prior to the service from 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
