Obituary: Leonard "Lenny" C. Navroth, age 91

Leonard "Lenny" C. Navroth, 91, beloved husband of Elsie Przeworski Navroth of Milford passed away April 21, 2013 in Yale New Haven Hospital with his family by his side.

Loving father of James Navroth and his wife Lisa of Milford and the late Richard and David Navroth. Cherished grandfather of Shannon and Jamie Navroth of Milford.

Lenny was born in Nanticoke, PA September 11, 1921 a son of the late Edward and Lillian Maga Navroth. Brother of Sally Navroth of Detroit, MI and the late Phyllis and Edward Navroth.

Lenny proudly served in the U S Army during WWII where he received 5 Bronze Stars participating in the Normandy Invasion, the Battle of the Bulge, as well as the North African and Middle Eastern Campaigns.

After the war he worked for Raybestos for 40 years while living in Milford and raising his family. He enjoyed playing golf, watching sports and spending time with family and his many friends who will miss him dearly.

A Memorial Service will held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Porto Funeral Home, 830 Jones Hill Rd., West Haven. Burial will be private. There will be no calling hours.
