Obituary: William H. Carpenter III, age 59

William was an enthusiastic sponsor of recreational sports and greatly enjoyed singing karaoke. Later on, he became a dedicated freshwater bass fisherman.

 

William H. Carpenter III, age 59, longtime resident of Milford and beloved husband of Sheryl Carpenter, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Yale New Haven Hospital.

Son of the late William and Marie Carpenter, he was born on December 7, 1953 in New Haven. Owner of two businesses in Milford, Carp Energy and Carp Building Structures, Inc., he was an avid participant in recreational sports within the city, particularly softball and football. He was an enthusiastic sponsor of recreational sports and greatly enjoyed singing karaoke. Later on, he became a dedicated freshwater bass fisherman. 

In addition to his wife, Sheryl, he is survived by two daughters, Casey and Alisabeth, and a son, Michael Suppe. William is also survived by his older brother, Anthony “Chip” Carpenter and his wife Diane Thompson of Sandy Hook. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 12th at 11:00 am at St Agnes Church, 400 Merwin Ave., Milford, CT 06460.

Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Friends and family may call on Friday, January 11th from 4 to 8 pm at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT 06460.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation – CT Chapter, 126 Monroe Tpke, Trumbull, CT 06477.

To clarify, they have 4 cats, and they're only able to take two of them, plus their 14 year old dog.Read More It was a struggle for them to even find a way to get the dog in the rental agreement, otherwise they would have tried to take them. :(

Sad that they had to leave these beauties behind. I'm sure they are heartbroken over it.

Please contact Forgotten Felines in Clinton. They are a no kill cat shelter. Offering "free toRead More a good home" pets is dangerous. There are bad people out there who take them and sell them to research labs or use them as bait in dog fighting. Please rethink this ad.
