Obituary: Thomas A. Biros, age 65, of Milford

Tom always said he was "born to fish and forced to work!" He was a member of the Pootatuck Yacht Club and Stratford Boat Owners.

 

Thomas A. Biros, age 65 of Milford passed away on October 17, 2012 at Milford Hospital. 

He was born in Bridgeport on February 7, 1947. Tom was a kind and loving soul with a bright smile and good word for everyone. He was a long time resident of Milford, CT and loved living on the water.

Tom loved fishing and his passion for it began when he was 6 years old when his father took him golfing and he would sit by a water hazard and pretend to fish. He loved sharing his knowledge with young people, often times giving away his rod and reel. 

Tom was Deputy Assessor in Bridgeport and Milford and he always said he was “born to fish and forced to work!” He was a member of the Pootatuck Yacht Club and Stratford Boat Owners.

Tom is survived by his loving wife Jane Biros of Milford, one brother Bob and wife Katie of Newark, DE, two sisters Andrea Rawson and husband David of San Francisco, CA and Diane Chronis and husband Ted of Palm Harbor, FL; one sister-in-law Kathy Ouimette and husband Tim of West Springfield, MA and four nephews Brian, Mark, Evan and James. 

Tom will be dearly missed by his family and friends. 

A Memorial service for Tom will be at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home 2220 Main Street Stratford.
