Obituary: Paul Jordan Hicks Sr., age 78

Paul was the owner operator of P & R Paving in Milford and a member of the Milford Chamber of Commerce.

 

Paul Jordan Hicks Sr., age 78, passed away suddenly at his home Friday November 23, 2012.

Born in Auburn, Maine, he was the son of the late Herbert and Joyce Hicks. Paul was the owner operator of P & R Paving in Milford.

He was a member of the Milford Chamber of Commerce and also the Injectors Race Club of Milford.

Surviving him are his children; Paul Jordan Hicks Jr. of Florida, Deborah Rodriguez of Schenectady NY, Sheila (James) Sullivan of Branford, Paula Drew of Alaska, Jordan Paul (Sonny) Hicks of Northford, Peter (Kelly) Hicks of Stratford, Stanley Hicks of Milford; sisters; Zelma Wood of California, Linda, Eileen and Betty all of Maine and a brother, Harold Wilbur Jr. of Lewiston Maine and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife Frances in 1998, a daughter Wanda Tatanio and a son Durwood Hicks.

Calling hours are Friday November 30, 2012 from 4 to 7pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford.

A prayer service at the funeral home will be held Saturday December 1st, 2012, at 10:00am, friends may call prior to from 9 am. Interment to follow in Kings Highway Cemetery, Cherry St., Milford.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to Peter Hicks, c/o Smith and Sefcik Funeral Home.

To clarify, they have 4 cats, and they're only able to take two of them, plus their 14 year old dog.Read More It was a struggle for them to even find a way to get the dog in the rental agreement, otherwise they would have tried to take them. :(

Sad that they had to leave these beauties behind. I'm sure they are heartbroken over it.

Please contact Forgotten Felines in Clinton. They are a no kill cat shelter. Offering "free toRead More a good home" pets is dangerous. There are bad people out there who take them and sell them to research labs or use them as bait in dog fighting. Please rethink this ad.
