Obituary: Morissa Anne Barrette, 20

Morissa Anne Barrette, age 20, of Milford, beloved daughter of Paul and Mary Manes Barrette, died tragically on Saturday, June 1.

Morissa was born in Milford on November 18, 1992.

A graduate of Jonathan Law High School, she was captain of her cheerleading squad and was currently working as the cheerleading assistant coach.

She worked at the Ambrosia Bakery in Milford while taking classes at the Charter Oaks State School in pursuit of her degree.

She enjoyed country music and will be sorely missed by her parents, siblings and many, many friends.

Survivors include her sister; Connie Barrette (fiancé, Stephen Wright) of West Haven and step-brother; Richard Buglione (fiancé, Laura Stewart) of Milford, niece; Aubrey Buglione, God-Parents; Melina and Christopher McNaught of Concord, N.H., maternal aunts and uncles; William and Dale O’Connor, James and Anne O’Connor, Sandra Manes, John and Jeri Manes, Ruth Forgette, Butch and Kathleen Gale, David Macallister and Loren Manes, paternal aunts and uncles; Thomas and Janine Brady, Robert and Moreen Barrette, John and Annette Provo, and Bob and Elaine Havaline and several dear cousins.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, June 5, from 3-8 p.m. in The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Ave., Milford, Conn.

A prayer service will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

Friends are invited to attend the graveside service on Thursday, June 6 at 10 a.m. directly in Kings Highway Cemetery, 270 Cherry St., Milford.
