Obituary: Marion Liscio of Milford, age 56

Marion Liscio, age 56, of Milford, and beloved wife to John Liscio, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 14th at Connecticut Hospice in Branford surrounded by her loving family.

Born on April 28, 1956 in Albany, New York, she was the daughter of Patrick Doran (Eva) and the late Marion Winchester Doran. Marion was an incredible woman of God and served the Lord in love and humility.

Marion was devoted to her family, and relished the opportunity to be a stay at home mom to her four children dedicating herself wholly to their upbringing. Marion was also a committed and active member of her church; she provided many with a remarkable example of a true servant’s heart.

Marion served the Lord faithfully and made a major impact in the lives of countless people through her continual service. Though Marion will be greatly missed by all who knew her, we rejoice in the knowledge that she is now in glory with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. 

In addition to her father and loving husband, Marion is survived by her children, Rachel Rowley (Andrew) of Milford, John Liscio, Jr. (Nina) of West Haven, Joel Liscio of Milford, and Moriah Liscio of Milford; her grandchildren, Becca Minahan and Mariangela Liscio; her siblings Jeanne Lehman of Beacon Falls, Donna DeMarco (Joseph) of NJ, Linda Maloney (John) of NJ, and Kathleen Doran of NJ. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tues., March 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. at The Cornerstone Christian Center, 349 Wheelers Farms Road, Milford, CT 06460.

Interment will immediately follow at Kings Highway Cemetery, Cherry St., Milford CT. Friends and family may call on Mon., March 18, 2013 directly at the Cornerstone Christian Center, 349 Wheelers Farms Road, Milford, CT 06460, from 4-8 p.m. Cody-White Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements.
