Obituary: Marc Vincent (Marky) Savoie, age 33

Marc worked as a plumber for the Plumbers & Pipefitters Union Local 777. He also worked at Bakers Bar & Grille. Marc was an avid fisherman, kayaker, golfer, N.Y. Yankee and Jet fan. Marc loved bowling and had a perfect 300 game.

 

Marc Vincent (Marky) Savoie, age 33, beloved husband of Mindy (Ploof) Savoie, passed away suddenly, Sunday December 30, 2012 at Milford Hospital.

Born in Bridgeport, he is the son of Catherine (Jacquot) Savoie and his beloved father the late John Paul Savoie. He will also be missed by his mother's loving companion Larry Vienneau of Milford. Marc worked as a plumber for the Plumbers & Pipefitters Union Local 777. He also worked at Bakers Bar & Grille.

Marc was an avid fisherman, kayaker, golfer, N.Y. Yankee and Jet fan. Marc loved bowling and had a perfect 300 game. Besides his loving wife and mother , Marc is survived by his brothers: Jean-Paul Savoie and his wife Keona, James Savoie and his wife Mary, treasured nieces Hannah, Emma, Abby, Kaylie, Olivia and Ellie and nephew Peter John, mother and father-in-law James & Dianne Ploof, his sister-in law and brother-in-law Amy and Brian Coddington, all of Milford, his many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Also survived by his loving dog Dexter.

In addition to his father, he is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Richard and Josephine Jacquot, paternal grandparents Wilfred and Albertine Savoie and his dear friend Fred Held.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, Saturday January 5, 2013 at 10:30 am in St. Mary’s Church, 70 Gulf St, Milford.

Calling hours will be held Friday from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St. Milford. Interment will follow in Kings Highway Cemetery Milford.
