Obituary: Klaus Held, age 79, of Milford

A Prayer Service will be held Friday, December 21, 2012 at 10:00am, prior to the Service, friends may call from 9:00 am at Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home.

 

Klaus Held, age 79, of Milford, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at Golden Hill Health Care Center.

Beloved son of the late Johannes and Berta (Goldschmidt) Held, he was a Salesman for the Reynolds Aluminum Company. Klaus is survived by his children; Barbra Held of Milford, Kimberly Held (fiancée Seth Banores) of Orange, Barry (Wendy) Held of Milford, Jeffrey Held of West Haven, a daughter-in-law Amiee Held of Milford; His sister Lisa Strauss of New York and his grandchildren; Matthew, Robert, Barry, Zachary and Noah. He is also survived by Eve and Joyce Held.

Klaus was predeceased by a son Fred and sister Margaret. A Prayer Service will be held Friday, December 21, 2012 at 10:00am, prior to the Service, friends may call from 9:00 am at Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 N.Broad St. Milford, CT. Interment will follow in Kings Highway Cemetery in Milford.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to: Golden Hill Recreations Dept., 2028 Bridgeport Ave., Milford, CT 06460

Sad that their owners didn't keep searching until they found a house that would accept two cats. IRead More hope they find good homes.

To clarify, they have 4 cats, and they're only able to take two of them, plus their 14 year old dog.Read More It was a struggle for them to even find a way to get the dog in the rental agreement, otherwise they would have tried to take them. :(

Sad that they had to leave these beauties behind. I'm sure they are heartbroken over it.
