Obituary: Joseph Perry, age 25, of Milford

Friends and family may call on Thursday, September 6th from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home.


Joseph Rezso Perry “Joe P,” age 25, of Milford, passed away unexpectedly at home on Thursday, August 30, 2012. 

Born on July 28, 1987 in Bridgeport, he was the beloved son of Andrea Hlacs Perry, of Milford, and the late Vernon Joseph Perry. Joe attended Jonathan Law High School and was a mason with Tony Checca Masonry of Milford. 

He was an avid sports fan and loved the New York Giants and the Yankees. Joe had many friends and was loved by all. He will truly be missed. 

Besides his mother Andrea, Joe is survived by his step-father Anthony Checca of Milford; five siblings, Meghan Perry, Samantha Checca, Kristy Checca, Anthony Checca, and Lisa Marie Perry; maternal grandparents, Eva and Rezso Hlacs of Bridgeport and his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Perry of Bridgeport; aunt, Krisztina Hlacs of Bridgeport; cousin, Csilla Ann Hlacs of Bridgeport. 

He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides his father, Joe was predeceased by his son Julian Perry. 

Friends and family may call on Thursday, September 6th from 4 to 7 p.m. at the , 107 Broad St., On the Green, Milford, immediately followed by a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.

I don't mind more pizza if its good pizza. There are plenty of horrible and so-so pizza places inRead More Milford. Currently 314 B-port Ave is a boarded up building with a parking lot where cops love to sit. Either this will prevent cops from sitting their or will cause them to sit there more. Also ladies, Milford is known for its P's: pizza, porn, package, and pawn.

I second Christina! Is no one listening? we are up to our ears in pizza! Im pretty sure we have moreRead More pizza in milford than new haven! Where is this trailer going to park at the devon market!? the traffic the market creates is bad enough for people that live in that area without a mobile oven rolling on in! I hope they have thought of that issue at the very least!
