Obituary: Jacqueline Koziel

Jacqueline Koziel, age 85, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Edward Koziel, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 20. Mrs. Koziel was born in White Plains, NY on May 18, 1929 to the late Salvatore and Agnus Minasi.

She was a lifelong CT resident and a devoted parishioner of Saint Ann Church.

She liked to sing, do puzzles and enjoyed interior decorating. She loved children, older people and had a good sense of humor.

She was a strong willed independent woman whom always made the best during hard times. Survivors include her children: Jacqueline, Edward (Barbara), Michael (Carol), and Kathleen, grandchildren; Lindsay and Salvatore, brother, James and several nieces and nephews.

Jacqueline is predeceased by three brothers; John, Charles, and Joe and four sisters; Louise, Marge, Marion and Martha.

Mom, you gave us serenity to accept the things we cannot change, the courage to change the things we can and wisdom to know the difference, Love your children.

Friends and family may call on Saturday morning from 9:00AM-11:00AM in The Gregory F Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford.

A service will be held in the funeral home at 10:30AM followed by interment in Saint Mary Cemetery, Greenwich.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Milford Hospital Foundation, 300 Seaside Avenue, Milford, CT 06460.
