Obituary: Hazel M. Vaughn, age 96, of Milford

Hazel M. Vaughn, age 96 of Milford, beloved wife of the late Robert H. Vaughn, passed away on Wednesday September 26, 2012 at Bridgeport Manor in Bridgeport, CT. 

She was born on September 20, 1916 in Ryegate, VT and was the daughter of the late Ernest and Jennie Adams Meader. Hazel was an inspector at the International Silver Co in Wallingford and was a member of the Milford Senior Center where she enjoyed many hours of talking with friends, singing and playing bingo. 

Hazel was a kind and loving person who brought much happiness to her family and friends and anyone who was fortunate enough to have her come into their life. 

She is survived by her daughter-in-law Marie Wierzbicki-Vaughn of Milford who she resided with. Her grandsons, Charles Burris of Meriden and Raymond Danz of West Haven. Hazel is also survived by a large extended family of nieces and nephews, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. 

A graveside service will take place on Monday, October 1, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Spring Grove Cemetery in North Hampton, MA .

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Milford Senior Center Jepson Drive Milford, CT.

Arrangements are being handled by the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. 06460.
