Obituary: Eileen Carol Huda, age 86

Eileen Carol Huda, age 86, of Milford, beloved wife of Charles Huda, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2012 in Milford Hospital.

She was born on July 30, 1926 in Bridgeport to the late Joseph and Lucy (Chieffo) Gabriel. Before retiring, she was employed as a Bookkeeper at Steinbach’s and General Electric.

She was pre-deceased by a son Gregory Allen Huda , a sister, Carmela (George) Kundrat, two brothers Anthony (Sue) & Daniel (Edith) Gabriel and her very close cousin Jennie (Jim) Manning.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her devoted children Charles (Margaret) Huda of Milford, Donna Francis of West Haven, David (Alice) Huda of Stratford, brothers Joseph (Doris) Gabriel and Donald (Anne) Gabriel both of Huntington, CT., a sister Fedare (Mike) Hrinak of Trumbull, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Tuesday, December 18, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:30 am in St. Mary Church Milford. Interment will be held in Milford cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
