Obituary: Edwin Martin Leniart, age 73
A wake will be held Wednesday August 15, 2012 from 6:00~8:00 pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home.
Edwin Martin Leniart, age 73, of Milford, passed away on Saturday August 11, 2012 in Ct Hospice. He was the beloved husband of the late Claudette Matte Leniart.
Edwin was born on August 22, 1938 in Bridgeport to the late Martin and Anna Wasilewska Leniart. He proudly served in the US Army. Before retiring in 1999, he was employed as a Machinist at Sikorsky Aircraft.

Mr. Leniart was a member of the Milford Senior Center; St. Agnes Parish and was an avid bowler and golfer.
He is survived by his loving children Jacqueline (Ron) Curtin of Monroe, Jennifer Leniart of Seymour and Francine (Kevin) Healy of South Glastonbury, a brother John (Constance) Leniart of Huntington, five grandchildren Ronnie, Danny, Steven, Alyssa and Caitlyn.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by his sister Irene Magyar.
A wake will be held Wednesday August 15, 2012 from 6:00~8:00 pm at the , 135 N. Broad St., Milford.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11:00 am directly in St. Agnes Church Milford. Interment will be private.
