Obituary: Darlene L. Keller, age 65

Mrs. Keller was raised in Milford and was a long time resident of Shelton where she was a Communicant of St. Joseph Church.

 

Darlene L. Keller, age 65, of Shelton and formerly of Milford, beloved wife of the late Raymond M. Keller, Sr., died peacefully on Feb. 28, 2013 at Griffin Hospital surrounded by her family.

Born in Ilion, NY on Aug. 16, 1947, she was the daughter of Lucia Williams Helmer of East Haven and the late Gordon Helmer. Mrs. Keller was raised in Milford and was a long time resident of Shelton where she was a Communicant of St. Joseph Church.

She enjoyed gardening, tending to her plants and flowers and crocheting. Her passion was her family; she was the consummate caregiver always, available to nurture her grandchildren with her love and affection.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her devoted children, Raymond (Olga) Keller, Jr. of Torrington, Kimberly (Michael) Johnson of MO, Michelle (Christopher) Maybeck of Shelton and Jason G. Keller of Shelton; sisters, Jean (Rocco) Candela of New Haven and Kathy (Steve) Zisk of Milford; God-daughters, Christine Warner and Jeannine Candela; 14 cherished grandchildren; and five nieces and nephews.

I don't mind more pizza if its good pizza. There are plenty of horrible and so-so pizza places inRead More Milford. Currently 314 B-port Ave is a boarded up building with a parking lot where cops love to sit. Either this will prevent cops from sitting their or will cause them to sit there more. Also ladies, Milford is known for its P's: pizza, porn, package, and pawn.

Where is this trailer going to park at the devon market!? the traffic the market creates is bad enough for people that live in that area without a mobile oven rolling on in! I hope they have thought of that issue at the very least!
