Marc Ferris, Public Works Employee for 20 years, dies at 45

Marc was very active in the Cub Scouts, enjoyed boating and was an avid fisherman.

 

Marc Richard Ferris, Sr., age 45, longtime resident of Milford and husband to Beth Brooks Ferris, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 8, 2013.

Born in Norwalk on February 20, 1968, he was the son of Richard Ferris and the late Darlene Kling Ferris. Marc was employed for over 20 years with the City of Milford in the Public Works department. He was very active in the Cub Scouts, enjoyed boating and was an avid fisherman. 

In addition to his wife, Beth, he is survived by his son, Marc Richard Ferris, Jr. of Milford, his brother, Robert G Ferris and his wife Elizabeth Folsom of MD and their sons, Ian and Matthew; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Michele and Manu Chandra and their children, Aleksandr and Kira; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Thomas and Mary Brooks and many more loving family members and friends. 

Friends and family may call on Saturday, March 16th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm followed by a Prayer Service at 2:00 pm at the Cody-White Funeral Home. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Marc Ferris, Jr. Educational Fund, c/o The Milford Bank, 33 Broad St, Milford, CT 06460.

To the Ferris Family. I am very sorry to hear of Marc's passing. I grew up on Platt street and had fond memories of Mark. I sold him my motorcycle many years ago which I knew he enjoyed riding. Sincerely , George Oeze.

To clarify, they have 4 cats, and they're only able to take two of them, plus their 14 year old dog.Read More It was a struggle for them to even find a way to get the dog in the rental agreement, otherwise they would have tried to take them. :(

Please contact Forgotten Felines in Clinton. They are a no kill cat shelter. Offering "free toRead More a good home" pets is dangerous. There are bad people out there who take them and sell them to research labs or use them as bait in dog fighting. Please rethink this ad.
