Daniel Salomone, Engineer, Inventor and Jazz Musician, dies at 57

Daniel was a resident of Milford for all his life and worked at Pitney Bowes as a self-educated Mechanical Engineer and Inventor. As a jazz musician, he studied under the late Sal Salvador.

 

Daniel Salomone, age 57, of Milford, beloved son of Mrs. Margaret Sears Salomone and the late Matthew Salomone, died on February, 3rd, 2013.  

Mr. Salomone was born in Bridgeport, CT on December 25, 1955.  He was a resident of Milford for all his life and worked at Pitney Bowes as a self-educated Mechanical Engineer and Inventor.  

He was a jazz musician and studied under the late Sal Salvador. Dan was also a talented artist and a vegetarian because of his love for all animals.  

Survivors include his siblings: Matthew Salomone , Stefana Salomone, both of Milford, Margaret Edwards (John) of NC, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Daniel is predeceased by his brother, Joseph Salomone.

Wake at Doyle Funeral will be Monday Febuary 11, 2013, 5pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday Febuary 12, 2013 at 10:30am DIRECTLY in Saint Gabriels Church, 26 Broadway, Milford. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in Daniel’s memory.
