Photos from Free Family Movie Night featuring Barnyard

On Friday, October 4th the Milford Education Foundation, Milford Prevention Council, and Milford Recreation Department held a free outdoor movie night featuring the animated flick, Barnyard.

The evening opened with a short pre-recorded interview with T.J. Sullivan, one of the film’s animators. T.J., 1991 graduate of Jonathan Law High School, talked about his role in the film’s production and ways inspired young animators can pursue their dreams.

Everyone enjoyed some putt-putt at our Eddie the Zebra mini golf hole! Folks were able to get in a little practice before the Milford Education Foundation Mini Golf Classic fundraiser held on Oct. 19th.

At the event, the Milford Education Foundation also collected items to support Master Sergeant Craig Zentkovich, Jonathan Law High School Class of 1993, and his unit, which is currently stationed in Afghanistan. Kids were able to write letters and draw pictures for the troops as well. A large box of candy, personal care items and letters was shipped off Master Sargeant Zentkovich to share with his unit.

The next free family movie night will be held in December at the YMCA. Details will be posted here and on the Milford Education Foundation Facebook page once plans are finalized.
