Milford Soldier Returns from Afghanistan to Find He's Been Robbed

A Facebook campaign has begun for a Milford war veteran who returned from Afghanistan to discover his belongings had been stolen from storage.

From the Fundraising for Castaldi Facebook page:

Mike Castaldi grew up in Milford where he graduated Jonathan Law HS in 2000. He enlisted in the US Navy in 2006 and has served 3 tours overseas. His latest tour was 8 months in Afghanistan. Monday, Sept 10, 2012, Mike returned home from deployment where he was shocked to find all of his belongings, with the exception of his furniture and military uniforms, had been stolen from storage while he was fighting for our country. We're rallying together with your help to show this hometown hero how much his service means and right the wrong done to him.

Mike Murray and Castaldi's brother are hosting a fundraiser for Mike Castaldi Thursday September 20th at Orange Ale House.

I don't mind more pizza if its good pizza. There are plenty of horrible and so-so pizza places inRead More Milford. Currently 314 B-port Ave is a boarded up building with a parking lot where cops love to sit. Either this will prevent cops from sitting their or will cause them to sit there more. Also ladies, Milford is known for its P's: pizza, porn, package, and pawn.

I second Christina! Is no one listening? we are up to our ears in pizza! Im pretty sure we have moreRead More pizza in milford than new haven! Where is this trailer going to park at the devon market!? the traffic the market creates is bad enough for people that live in that area without a mobile oven rolling on in! I hope they have thought of that issue at the very least!
