Milford Company Donates 200 Bikes to Area Kids
Neopost USA, whose corporate headquarters are in Milford, have donated 2,200 bikes during the holidays over the past 13 years, according to the following post.
The generous employees of Neopost USA donated 200 bicycles to area children this holiday season.
This is the 13th year that employees of the Milford-based supplier of mailing, communications and shipping solutions have raised funds for the employee-driven Bikes for Tikes program.
During that time, they have donated 2,200 bikes during the holidays to a local charity.
Neopost USA employees raise cash through a variety of fundraising events at the company’s Milford corporate headquarters and other locations across the country to pay for the bicycles.
But the bigheartedness doesn’t stop there. Neopost USA employees also assemble and deliver the bikes to Team Inc., a community action agency in Derby, Conn., which delivers the bikes to local families.
“I want everyone in Connecticut to know how proud I am of our generous, resourceful and creative employees,” said Dennis P. LeStrange, President and CEO of Neopost USA.
“They make a plan each year and they follow-through for a cause that they are passionate about. They are the personification of the spirit of the holiday season.”
Two hundred happy kids have new bikes this holiday season thanks to the commitment and dedication of Neopost USA’s employees.
