SENIOR HEALTH DAY AT MILFORD SENIOR CENTER

September is National Senior Center Month and in recognition of this event, the Milford Senior Center is hosting Senior Health Day at 9 Jepson Drive from 9:00 a.m. till noon, Monday, September 26. Free health screenings will be available along with music, massages,pets and a cooking demonstration, courtesy of Milford Hospital. Screenings include blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose, hearing, vision and dental. A Mammography Van will be available, also. Call 203 688-6800 for an appointment.  Cholesterol, screening $5.00; appointment is required. Call Maureen at 203 874-8414, ext. 1713. (Fasting for this screening is not required.)A Community Outreach and Parish Nursing Van will be available.  Also, free screenings for Osteoporosis and skin. An appointment is required for screenings; call Maureen at 203 874-8414The event is being sponsored by Milford Senior Center, Home Care Plus and Milford Hospital. Guest speaker, Maria Tomasetti will present "Know the 10 signs and Maintain Brain Health."
