A seasonal team member is someone who works at Lake Compounce between May and October. No prior experience is necessary, but we are looking for people who understand the importance of enjoying life, people who like to smile and help others, and people who are just plain friendly.

Please keep in mind, a well-groomed appearance is essential. Females should wear moderate makeup and jewelry. Hairstyles should be moderate. For males, closely cropped mustaches and beards are acceptable.

Our grooming policy is a condition of employment. Applicants are not required to conform to our grooming policy when appearing for an interview. More details about the grooming policy are available upon request at the time of the interview.

All applications for employment at Lake Compounce must be complete and be reviewed by Lake Compounce staff. You may be contacted for a personal interview. We make our selections from those applicants who most closely meet our Lake Compounce standards. Applicant evaluations are based on the following factors: attitude, availability, enthusiasm, communication skills, courtesy, neatness and friendliness.

A show as large as ours makes flexible scheduling and part-time scheduling available. Tell us when you are available. We may have a schedule which fits your needs. Keep in mind that availability dates are very important and have a strong bearing on consideration for employment - we have a show to produce!

Hours may fluctuate due to weather and park attendance. Therefore, we cannot guarantee a specific number of hours each week. Everyday "the show must go on" for our guests making it vital that you have reliable transportation.

If you are unable to attend our Job Fair (see details above), applications for employment are accepted at Lake Compounce Administration office located at 822 Lake Avenue in Bristol, CT during business hours (Monday-Friday, 10 am-4 pm) Applications should be filled out in advance and presented in person.
