Why does it seem so hard to lose weight?

Weight is a struggle for many of us. We begin the day asking, what can I eat, how much and when should I stop? Hypnosis can change your relationship with food and your body so weight comes off easily.

As a certified hypnotist, I get this question a lot.  Losing weight should be only about math. If you eat less calories than you burn, your body will lose weight. Of course, how do we know, for sure, how many calories we are taking in or burning?  It is hard for some to lose weight because it is not what eat, its what's eating them!

Emotional eating is really at the root of most weight loss problems. Hypnosis is the fastest, most effective way to deal with those emotions. Diets don't work as a permanent solution because your unconscious mind is so literal that when you are "on a diet" you  may find it easy to stick to it for a while. After you can't stand it anymore, or when you are finished, your unconscious mind returns back to old habits and feelings and the weight returns, usually with extra pounds on top of the original weight. Until you face the emotional issues, you cannot be successful in losing weight.

The most effective way to lose weight is to change your relationship with food and change your relationship with your body.  Food is for nourishment and fuel.  Your body needs food, real food.

The stuff you put into your body that is edible, but not food, is immediately turned to fat.  When you eat when you are not hungry, for emotional reasons, that turns to fat.  When you learn to love and respect your body, you will treat it differently.

Most of us who have dogs are very careful to only give dogs the food that is suitable and healthy for them.  We are also careful to be sure our dog gets proper exercise. Not because the dog is on a diet, but because exercise is important for the dog's health.

How many of us take as good care of our bodies as we do our dogs?  When you love and respect your body, you will take care of it.  Change your relationship with your body beginning with no longer saying negative unkind things to it.  Begin with, "I'm sorry! Look what I did to you!"  When you begin there, you will begin to make changes that will allow your body to begin to let go of the unwanted weight.

You don't have to know any more than to only eat real food, only eat when you are hungry and stop when you are satisfied, not full. Your body will do the rest! Create a plan for finding emotional relief away from food, or find a hypnotist to make it easy!
