VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION to work with shelter animals

The Stratford Animal Rescue Society (STARS) will be hosting a new volunteer orientation on Saturday July 26th from 10:00am-11:30am at the Stratford Animal Control Facility,225 Beacon Point Road. STARS works in collaboration with the Stratford Police Department, Animal Control Division. This joint force has established a program vital to the operation of the Animal Control Facility and our volunteers make a great impact, in many areas. Today, volunteers assist in the cleaning, care, exercise and socialization of the animals housed in the Animal Control Facility. In addition they help to place them in loving homes and provide support for various fundraising events. To register for the orientation or for more information please visit our website athttp://www.stratfordanimalrescue.org/ and click on volunteering.
