The Puritan Way

“Milford and The Congregational (or Puritan Way)” is the title of a program that will be presented at the First United Church of Christ, Congregational on Friday, May 30 at 7 p.m. at 34 West Main St. This is the first in a series of lectures sponsored by the church’s 375th Anniversary Committee commemorating the 1639 simultaneous founding of the congregation and the establishment of the settlement as a Theocracy.The speaker will be Rev. John van Epps, an archivist for the Connecticut Conference of the UCC. Van Epps maintains the Conference Library and preserves records of the state’s more than 250 congregations of the UCC.All welcome; free event.
