SVC Showcase

Souhegan Valley Chorus is holding a very special end of the season gala on Saturday, June 8th, and you are invited to be part of this exciting event.

The chorus will present "SVC Showcase" -- 90 minutes of nonstop music in an intimate 1940's cabaret style setting.  Attendees will be seated at small tables where exquisite desserts and beverages will be served by chorus members in formal attire while auditioned performers present favorites from the repertoire of The Great American Songbook.

There is significant individual talent within the chorus, and these members will be featured in a memorable evening of song.  Whether it brings back memories or provides new insight to another era, it will be an opportunity never before experienced in the Milford/Amherst area.

Years ago, the popular local American Stage Festival made its debut in the Parish Hall of the First Congregational Church on Union St. in Milford.  That location will once again be transformed into the venue for an unforgettable evening of outstanding entertainment.

The doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the curtain opens at 8:00.  Tickets at $20 are available at the Toadstool Bookshop in Milford, Moulton's Market in Amherst or from chorus members.  Or you may call (603) 566-0685 to reserve tickets.  Seating is limited, so acquiring tickets in advance is strongly recommended.  Information about the event is also at www.souheganvalleychorus.org and on Facebook.
