“Porkenstein” is based on the popular book by Kathryn Lasky
and features book and lyrics by Bert Bernardi and music by Justin Rugg. The
story follows Doctor Pig as he works in his laboratory in hopes of creating a
new, ‘wolf-proof’ friend in time for Halloween. Along with his assistant, he
makes a series of scientific blunders and eventually invents an enormous
super-pig. Filled with laughter and original songs, the new musical proves that friendships comes in all shapes,
sizes and appetites!

“It’s a fun-filled, musical mash-up of The Three Little Pigs
and the legend of Frankenstein” says Bernardi. “Audiences of all ages are going
to love it!” he added.
