Milford Guided Canoe Tour

Relax and have fun discovering the Charles Wheeler Salt Marsh at Milford Point this summer on a canoe tour guided by naturalists from the CT Audubon Society Coastal Center.

On the trip you will enjoy  vistas of the marsh and its abundant birdlife, learn the basics of canoeing from an experienced instructor, and discover the history of the area, from Native American times to today.

The tours are suitable for ages 7 and up (children must be accompanied by an adult). Advance registration is required. Call the CT Audubon Society Coastal Center at Milford Point for more information: 203-878-7440. Canoes and life vests are provided, or you can bring your own. Wear shoes you won't mind getting wet as you hop in and out of the canoe, and bring water and a snack.
