Free Public Stargazing at Silver Sands State Park in Milford

The Astronomical Society of New Haven is hosting a free family

public viewing event on Friday, August 30th after sunset at Silver

Sands State Park in Milford. Telescopes will be pointed at Saturn with its

rings, the Hercules star cluster, the Ring Nebula and many other nebulas and

star clusters. Members will also point out the constellations and satellite

passes. ASNH can assist you with your telescope or

binoculars just bring them to the event. Dress for cool weather and wear

mosquito repellant. Directions and cancellation (due to weather - including

clouds) will be posted to our website, www.asnh.org
