BOTTOMS UP! United Way Healthy Baby Diaper Drive

The United Way of Milford is collecting diapers during the month of March. These diapers will
be distributed to Milford families in need through United Way agencies and the Department of
Human Services. Last year the United Way of Milford collected over 11,000 diapers during our
Healthy Baby Diaper Drive. Help us continue to keep Milford babies happy and comfortable.

Did you know that a monthly supply of diapers can cost $100 or more and that diapers cannot
be purchased with food stamps or through WIC? And without enough diapers, parents cannot
leave their children with a daycare provider and are unable to attend work or school. Babies
may end up in wet diapers for hours causing illness and discomfort and preventing them from
playing and learning.

Here’s what you can do:

Collect diapers and wipes and drop them off at these collection points:

GE Federal Credit Union
ShopRite of Milford
Super Stop and Shop (East Town Road)
Rape Crisis CenterTurner Construction Co.
Ricoh
Sandcastle Learning Center
Woodruff Family YMCA
