BREAKFAST WITH FRAN-NEW HAVEN COUNTY-Networking for the Business Owner, Self-Employed Professional and Entrepreneur
The Proprietor of the Village Bistro, Khaled, whom everyone calls "Kay", has opened his doors to small business owners from all over the local towns of Milford, Stratford, Orange, New Haven, Derby, Shelton, and even Bridgeport and Fairfield. Once a month we gather together as a group of professionals and entrepreneurs to enjoy a gourmet breakfast and hear what one another does, as well as learn from the Entrepreneur speaker of the month. This event is free and open to the public, and is presented by LegalShield/GoSmallBiz Independent Associates, Ms. T. Witkin Marcus and Mr. D. Turnage, under the auspices of GoSmallBiz' Tarkenton Productions.
We are hosting the GoSmallBiz live or
on-demand telecast of "Breakfast With Fran" (Fran is Fran Tarkenton, former NFL Hall of Fame Quarter-Back who has over 30 years of experience as a
small business owner both an Entrepreneur and as an advocate for other Small
Business Owners). He joined LegalShield Company with his own Adjunct Division
called "GoSmallBiz.com" 15 years ago, which has helped thousands of
small business owners, entrepreneurs, self employed professionals and Home Based
Businesses throughout the United States and Canada to grow and protect their
businesses as well as to achieve maximum visibility on the web, driving traffic
to their respective wares and services.
Every Month Fran interviews a New 'Super Star' in
the realm of Small Business who talks on a topic of interest to the Small
Business Owner. The Interview itself is about 15-20 minutes and is followed by
a few minutes introduction to what GoSmallBiz
is and does for us as busy self-motivated professionals.
I am pioneering this program in our area--and we
are fortunate to bring Fran and GoSmallBiz to New Haven County, CT, where I
have pioneered its hosting, with the help of my colleague, Douglas Turnage: The
only other 'Breakfast with Fran" Formerly, this event has only been
offered in Hartford, CT, organized by Ms. Rebecca Flowers.

Ms. Tamari Witkin Marcus holds a BFA and an MM in
Music Performance and Pedagogy and has been a small business owner herself for well over 20 years. After a devastating personal legal experience she
stumbled across GoSmallBiz' Adjunct Company, LegalShield, in early 2011, which subsequently
helped her get through the tail end of that experience as well as with recovery
of both Hurricanes Irene and Sandy. These two Hurricanes leveled the first
floor her family’s shoreline house twice! (She has a 3-ring binder full
of her own experiences and testimonials of the service). As she gradually
rebuilt her life and studio, she determined to undergo the training and
certified in both the LegalShield as well as the GoSmallBiz programs so that
she could help other professionals and
business owners rebuild their lives, receive the same and better benefits that
she did, and avoid needless pitfalls which every self-employed and small
business professional is faced with, get affordable professional guidance,
support and help, and live more worry-free lives! The tools and services these
companies offer may be of extraordinary benefit -especially for residents of
the Eastern Seaboard Shoreline areas hardest hit by both Hurricanes Irene and
Sandy, whose aftermath shoreline dwellers are still reeling from!
