Barbie 55th Birthday Celebration

A 55th Birthday Party celebration and presentation on the history of the Barbie Doll will be hosted by the BFHS on March 29th from 2-4PM. Beth Heiss, a well-known Barbie collector and member of the National Barbie Collectors Association will present the "55 years of Barbie collecting".

Along with the presentation, there will be a silent auction of hand-made crocheted Barbie dresses made by members of the Historical Society; and a tea cup auction of other items. Included in the prizes is the limited edition Sports Illustrated Barbie that was only available through Target Stores & a copy of the 50th Anniversary SI Swimsuit issue with the Barbie photo spread.

A special door prize, a gift bag from the 2013 National Barbie Convention, will also be given away. All full-price entrants will receive a ticket for this special prize.

Bring your Barbie and Beth Heiss will review the history of your doll with you.

Refreshments will be served.

All funds collected at this special fundraiser will be used to support the Society's Woodland High School Scholarship Fund.
