This November's Election Day may be many months away, but the Milford Registrars of Voters are hard at work ensuring the city's voting rolls are accurate and up to date.
Currently, the registrars are in the process of conducting the annual voter canvass.
Canvass mailings to registered voters who have moved from their City of Milford address to an out of town location — as well as registered voters who have moved to a new address within the City of Milford — will be mailed March 28.
The registrars are asking voters to verify the information and return the form within 30 days.
The registrars will be using the National Change of Address system, which provides them with the names of registered voters who have moved out of Milford or into Milford.
The voter canvass is conducted annually in accordance with Connecticut General Statues, Sec. 9-32, 9-35 and Conn. Regs. 9-32-1 to 9-32-9.
For information or questions relative to the canvass, contact the Milford Registrars of Voters at 203-783-3240. The office is open daily from 9 a.ml t0 1 p.m.
