One of the worst hit places in Devon seems to be Costa Azzurra restaurant on Broadway. It's parking lot essentially turned into a sandlot.
Irene's winds blew mounds of sand and mud and scattered rocks into Livio Faustini's Italian restaurant and banquet facility's parking lot. His back deck overlooking the sound was also leveled.
"I have never seen anything like this (in 40 years)," Faustini said as he shook his head.
