The Federal Emergency Management Agency earlier this year announced it would expand its coastal flood plain maps in Connecticut, which means many more properties in , Stratford and other coastal towns .
According to an article by the Connecticut Post, the new coastal flood plain maps will add thousands of homes to the flood area.
The article said the new maps probably won’t be made public until sometime next summer.
