The Harlem Wizards Are Coming Back to Milford!

The Harlem Wizards bring comedy and showmanship that kids of all ages will enjoy. Watch them in action with local Milford celebrities.

The Devon Rotary is once again sponsoring a unique community fundraiser at the Foran High School Gym on Saturday, November 10th, at 7:00 PM. The Harlem Wizards are taking on the Mighty Milford Hoopsters in a game guaranteed to be a fun-filled night of Trick Hoops & Alley-Oops!

According to their website, “At the Wizards game fans see amazing basketball talent combined with hilarious comedy. The athleticism, tricks, fancy teamwork and ball-handling wizardry, plus wild dunks not even seen in NBA games, engages and wows the most avid hoops fans”. The Wizards are fan favorites of every age. From the comedy packed action of the game, to the halftime show with all the young fans taking the court, a night at a Wizards game will not soon be forgotten. A free autograph session is held after the game. The Wizards don’t leave the court until every autograph is signed.

The 2011 Mighty Milford Hoopsters Team is packing quite a bit of talent, although the talent may not be in basketball. The tentative Milford Hoopster lineup includes:

You gotta take the kids! Took my nieces and nephews last year and they loved it. My brothers liked it too.Talked about it for weeks. I thought it would be predictable the whole trick baseball game thing ....it was not. It was a action packed fast paced comedy show with some basketball. Funny! Funny! Funny! Great family night out!
