Where History Comes Alive

Meet residents of Old Milford Cemetery "in person" Stephen Stow, Robert Treat, Jonathan Law, and Mary Fowler are just waiting to tell you their stories.

This headline borrows the tag-line from one of the many cable channels that used to actually show what their name implied, we have “The Old Milford Cemetery tour - ghosts in the graveyard”.

The Milford Historical Society plays host to the ghosts of Milford's past showing the final resting places of many interesting souls that once (and possibly still do) roam the streets of Milford.

Robert Treat, Stephen Stow, Jonathan Law, and Mary Fowler are just a few of the residents of the Old Milford Cemetery waiting to tell you their stories “in person”.

Tickets are $5.00 for adults; children under 12 accompanied by an adult and students are free. Tickets are for sale at the Historical Society Saturdays and Sundays from 1pm to 4pm through October 7th or at The Canvas Patch. The Milford Historical Society is located at 34 High Street and the Canvas Patch is in downtown Milford at 5 River Street.

We dearly depart from the DAR building on Prospect Street on Saturday October 20 at 1pm. Rain date will be Sunday Oct. 21. Call 203 877-1851 for more info on this entertaining educational event.

To clarify, they have 4 cats, and they're only able to take two of them, plus their 14 year old dog.Read More It was a struggle for them to even find a way to get the dog in the rental agreement, otherwise they would have tried to take them. :(

Sad that they had to leave these beauties behind. I'm sure they are heartbroken over it.

Please contact Forgotten Felines in Clinton. They are a no kill cat shelter. Offering "free toRead More a good home" pets is dangerous. There are bad people out there who take them and sell them to research labs or use them as bait in dog fighting. Please rethink this ad.
