Connecticut BBB Looking for Arbitrators

Connecticut BBB is recruiting arbitrators to participate in new vehicle warranty disputes between customers and participating automobile manufacturers at the CT BBB Wallingford offices.

An Opportunity to Devote Arbitration and Mediation Skills to Helping the Marketplace

Connecticut Better Business Bureau is looking for experienced arbitrators to participate in the BBB AUTO LINE dispute resolution program.

BBB AUTO LINE is an out-of-court arbitration process which works to resolve new vehicle warranty disputes between customers and participating automobile manufacturers, using attorneys as neutral thirds parties.

The Council of Better Business Bureaus (CBBB) which administers the program, is recruiting volunteer arbitrators who are willing to hear cases in the Wallingford area where Connecticut BBB is located.

The training is conducted through a series of conference calls and web-based learning modules, and includes readings and exercises prior to each class.  The sessions cover the Lemon Law, specifics of the BBB AUTO LINE program and arbitration skills.  Candidates are required to pass an online written assessment for certification.

There is no cost for training or materials.  Arbitrators receive a $100.00 honorarium per case except when done for pro-bono credit.  You can expect to be asked to participate in two to three hearings per year.  Candidates who successfully complete the training will be eligible to hear both AUTO LINE arbitrations along with potential binding arbitration cases.

You can learn more about the program and training, and find the application form at http://www.bbb.org/us/dispute-resolution-training.

I don't mind more pizza if its good pizza. There are plenty of horrible and so-so pizza places inRead More Milford. Currently 314 B-port Ave is a boarded up building with a parking lot where cops love to sit. Either this will prevent cops from sitting their or will cause them to sit there more. Also ladies, Milford is known for its P's: pizza, porn, package, and pawn.

I second Christina! Is no one listening? we are up to our ears in pizza! Im pretty sure we have moreRead More pizza in milford than new haven! Where is this trailer going to park at the devon market!? the traffic the market creates is bad enough for people that live in that area without a mobile oven rolling on in! I hope they have thought of that issue at the very least!
