Mr. Mac's to Close Saturday in Honor of Ray McPadden Jr.

The funeral for the late owner of Mr. Mac's Canteen is this Saturday. Calling hours are Friday.

A sign on the door of Mr. Mac's Canteen in Monroe informs patrons that both of the eatery's locations will be closed Saturday, when relatives and friends of the late Raymond F. McPadden Jr., 49, attend his funeral service at St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave., Shelton.

McPadden, of Shelton, died beside his truck, while plowing snow in the blizzard last Saturday.

Today, Feb. 15, calling hours are being held at Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, from 4 to 8 p.m.
