In November, 2011 the CT unemployment rate was 8.4%... Our state legislators pass a "jobs bill" in Oct '11 and now the state is @ 9%...

Legislators in Hartford and DC know these numbers are going to rise, but rely on their blind voter base to continue to be delusional about this reality..

After a record tax hike we have a $365 milion dollar deficit that has to be fixed with a "special session" and input from the Governor, want to guess what the solution will be? Perhaps now we will be taxed for the air we breath, most likely it will be called a fee. Fees, the backdoor tax the Dems love to call a non tax. But this pales in comparison to the $1.1 billion dollar debt bomb facing CT in 2014. This does not include what fiscal nightmare Washington will drop on us. Jobs? CT will be lucky if the unemployment rate doesn't climb to and stay in double digits for the next decade. On the bright side we ain't Detroit, yet.......
