If you would like a local restaurant’s inspection posted on Patch, leave the name in the comments and we’ll share that information next time around. About the scores
A perfect inspection results in a score of 100. Demerits range from one point (least severe) to four points (most severe).
If a restaurant is marked for one 4-point violation, it fails the inspection. So a restaurant can get a 96 and still fail and require re-inspection. A score below 80 also results in a failed inspection.
The Milford Health Department handles the inspections.
The information is open to the public and residents can come down to 82 New Haven Ave. to view the inspections, says Nancy Eisler, environmental division secretary at the department.
