Gas Prices Drop 4 Cents in a Week

The average price per gallon in Connecticut began to decline but still remains well over $4.

Connecticut gas prices dropped from $4.14 to $4.10 in a week, according to price tracking website ConnecticutGasPrices.com. The current national average is $3.81 per gallon.

“The national average has begun to drop nicely over the last week, and while it certainly doesn't feel like much, it is noteworthy,” said Patrick DeHaan, senior analyst at GasBuddy.com, the parent company of ConnecticutGasPrices.com.

He added, “Oil prices were all over the map last week, closing in on $100/bbl one day and dropping to $92/bbl later in the week. I've probably had more double takes watching oil prices in the last week than I've had all summer.”

Best place to buy gasoline is at CostCo. My car requires premium and they sell it or less than most people pay for regular. Last week I paid $4.15 a gallon.

To clarify, they have 4 cats, and they're only able to take two of them, plus their 14 year old dog.Read More It was a struggle for them to even find a way to get the dog in the rental agreement, otherwise they would have tried to take them. :(

Sad that they had to leave these beauties behind. I'm sure they are heartbroken over it.

Please contact Forgotten Felines in Clinton. They are a no kill cat shelter. Offering "free toRead More a good home" pets is dangerous. There are bad people out there who take them and sell them to research labs or use them as bait in dog fighting. Please rethink this ad.
