Food Fight: Best Wings in Milford?

Vote for your favorite Milford purveyor of the classic Super Bowl snack!

It's Super Bowl week, and the Milford Patch is inaugurating Food Fight with a Super question: Who has the best wings in town?

In Food Fight, we're going to look for your help to highlight the best Places in the area for deli sandwiches, soups, salads, pizza, pasta and more.

Here’s how it works:

  • We'll ask a question about your favorites.
  • We invite you to post your nominations in the comments below.
  • We hope you'll also spread the word about this to your friends on Facebook and Twitter and get them involved.
  • Submit comments until 5 p.m. Thursday.

Then:

  • We'll take the top three nominees, based on your comments, and post an article first thing Friday morning.
  • That article will include a poll in which you can vote for your favorite.
  • After the poll starts on Friday, you'll be able to vote till Saturday at 5 p.m.
  • On Sunday morning, we'll announce the winner.

This restaurant review is all about you — your ideas, your feedback and your voice — so we hope you will chime in and check back.

So, whether it’s the spices, the prices or the delivery, let us know: Who has the best wings in Milford?

Archie Moore's by a long shot. They use Frank's Red Hot Sauce with nothing extra added to ruin the taste. Haven't tasted any better - except the one's I make! Bobby Valentine's would have been the winner if they didn't close.

I have to agree. Archie Moore's wings are by far the best in Milford!

Not a fan of wings that just have hot sauce thrown on them, like Archie's. Prefer different flavors -- barbecue, teriyake, garlic-parmesan, etc. That said, even though Buffalo Wild Wings has those flavors, their wings are terrible -- TKs in Danbury has better wings than anyplace in Milford.

My wife and I many years ago visited the place that still produces old piano rolls. During that visit we had lunch in the original bar where "Buffalo wings" originated. (Yes it is in Buffalo NY.) All other wings are just imitations, but may be preferred as very few can compare them to the original.
