Bridgeport Hospital has promoted Administrative Director of Support Operations Marc Brunetti of Milford to Vice President, Support Operations, and Administrative Director of Clinical Services Patrick Schmincke of Middlebury to Vice President, Clinical Administration.
In a memo announcing the promotions, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Norman Roth called Brunetti and Schmincke “extraordinary leaders who have consistently demonstrated exemplary achievements.”
“Both have significant scope of responsibility and their achievements have helped made Bridgeport Hospital a better organization,” Roth said in the memo.
Brunetti joined the Bridgeport Hospital staff in 1994 after graduating from the hospital’s School of Nursing. He held nursing positions in the Float Pool and on the Cardiology Unit, and was also a Patient Care Services Administrative Manager. In 2000, he was promoted to Director of Cardiology and in 2007 became Administrative Manager of Support Operations, where he has led Environmental Services, Food and Nutrition, Patient Escort, Materials Management, Security and Parking, and Telecommunications. Brunetti recently took on the additional role of on-site leader for Plant Engineering and Design/Construction Services.
