The Elf on the Shelf Celebrates Children's Birthdays

This Saturday 30 children were invited to a special birthday party for "The Elf on the Shelf: A Birthday Tradition." Although the beloved Elf typically only visits local homes during the December holiday season, families can now include him or her in their children's birthday celebrations. At Barnes & Noble Milford, children decorated birthday crowns, played party games and performed The Hokey-Pokey and Chicken Dance. Prizes were awarded and everyone in attendance received an Elf on the Shelf Cookie. Guests also enjoyed a special Birthday Frappe and Elf on The Shelf Cupcake in Barnes & Noble Milford's Café.

On Saturday, Feb. 8 SPOT THE DOG will visit Barnes & Noble Milford at 11 am to noon. A Valentine's Day celebration will feature "The Love Monster." We will create simple Valentine's Day cards, too!

Children ages five and older are invited to register for a Hands-On Learning Creativity Can event at noon. Supplies are limited so please call the Milford store at 203- 301-0371 to register. Registration may also be made in person.
