Meet New MFAC Director

Van Parker, who has a Masters Degree in Business Administration, is the new leader of the Milford Fine Arts Council.

 

Van Parker has been named the new Executive Director of the .

Parker has previous not-for profit management and development experience with St. Luke's LifeWorks in Stamford, the Transportation Association of Greenwich and the Greenwich Land Trust.

Parker holds a BA in Political Science from Colgate University and a Masters of Business Administration from Columbia University's Graduate School of business where he studied banking and finance.

Parker and his wife, Adrienne, are residents of Wilton, CT. He previously studied jazz piano with John Mehegan in Manhattan and 'enjoys writing fiction,' according to an MFAC press release.

A welcome reception for Van Parker will be held on Wednesday, September 19th at 5:30 at the Center for the Arts on 40 Railroad Avenue, Milford.
