Milford Band Voted Off of America's Got Talent

The band's popularity skyrocketed while on the show.

Milford band Beach Avenue got eliminated from "America's Got Talent,” Wednesday but in a video the band says they are far from done.

“It was an unbelievable experience, and we’re happy to be apart of it,” the band said. “It opened a lot of new doors for us, tons of new fans. It’s not done for us, we’ll keep playing music.”

The band also urged fans to let the celebrity judges know they made a mistake.

Armed with their folky-pop tune "Coming Your Way," three of the band's members had swept four enthusiastic "yeses" from Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel to advance on the show.

The band performed during the Los Angeles auditions, which took place April 21-26 in the Dolby Theater, and the Milford musicians appear on the sixth episode of season nine.

The name Beach Avenue comes from the street of the Milford house where the members lived. The group has collected more than 11,00 fans on its Facebook page at the time of this article, and the number is growing.
