The Method Gun at Yale Rep

NO BOUNDARIES: A SERIES OF GLOBAL PERFORMANCES, presented by Yale Repertory Theatre  announces The Method Gun, created and performed by the award-winning theatre company Rude Mechs.

The Method Gun premiered at the 2010 Humana Festival of New Plays to critical acclaim.

In The Method Gun, the diaries and letters of acting guru Stella Burden's followers are pieced together to recreate the company's nine-year rehearsal process for A Streetcar Named Desire. The Method Gun reveals the ecstasy and excesses of performance, the incompatibility of truth on stage and sanity in real life, and the indelible impact of mentors.

For mature audiences. The running time for The Method Gun is approximately 90 minutes with no intermission.
