Red, White & Blue Spectacular at the Westfield CT Post

Bring the kids and join us on Friday, July 1 beginning at 6pm for a Westfield Family Fun Days Exclusive - Red, White & Blue Spectacular: A Salute to Connecticut Kids & Fireworks Show.

Beginning at 6pm, join us on the Lower Level Center Court near Macy's for kids entertainment in partnership with ASCONN - a Connecticut non-profit group that supports families & children living with autism.

Enjoy a Red, White & Blue Kid's Parade throughout the Lower Level, a special appearance by "Uncle Sam," musical performances by Lynn Lewis & Friends, up and coming teen pop artist Beau Badrick, facepainting, arts & crafts, free goodie bags for the first 500 families, activities from local community groups and retailers, giveaways, contests & much more.

Kids 12 & under (accompanied by a parent) are invited to join us for a Red, White & Blue Kid's Parade starting at 6:05pm around the Lower Level of the mall, led by our friends from ASCONN, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers Mascot & Uncle Sam. Kids are encouraged to wear and showcase their patriotic pride, with awards for the most spirited.

Starting at 8pm the fun continues outside on the Top Level of the Green Parking Garage (accessible by Rave Motion Pictures) with family friendly performances by the Jonathon Law High School Choir & New Haven Symphony Brass Quintet.

A live fireworks show will begin at approximately 9:15pm. Families are welcome to bring blankets to watch the fireworks.

*Rain date for fireworks is Saturday, July 2 at 9:15pm - fireworks only. The indoor portion of the event will happen July 1, rain or shine.
