Next Step: Exposure in the DSLR Camera

PLEASE READ: This class will meet twice. Following the in-class session on June 6th, there will be a shooting session on Saturday, June 11th at 9am - weather permitting.  Location and rain date to be determined. This class is limited to 15 students.

This 2 part class is for DSLR users looking to expand their understanding of their camera's metering system as it relates to ambient light: its strengths, weaknesses, and suggested remedies for more accurate in camera exposure. Topics covered include a review of semi and full exposure overrides, tips for evaluating ambient light with a look toward reliable results, a brief history of photographic meter systems with attention paid to the Adam's zone system and how it can help today's digital shooter quickly evaluate varying exposures. Participants should have taken my Tips & Tricks class or otherwise have a working understanding of shutter, aperture, ISO controls on their cameras and must have a DSLR digital camera.

The first in what i hope become a series of more advanced workshops.
